Painted Pines

Kindergarten students drew three triangles and a horizon line on 12 x 18 white paper with black oil pastel and painted their pine trees.  I gave no instruction on painting, except that they had to fill the entire paper....no white.  I got some interesting results.  Many of my kiddos do not paint much at all, and they loved doing this!
